Operating Principle A series of reed switches and resistors are positioned on a circuit board, which is epoxied inside the stem. A regulated voltage is put across the circuit, which is connected to either the signal conditioner or digital panel meter. The liquid level drives a float containing a magnet past the reed switches closing them in a repeatable pattern limiting the voltage across the circuit as the level rises.
